Benjamin Moore Copper Mountain Ceiling & Muslin Walls

I love painted "color" ceilings.   Some of my clients are gutsy enough to go for it, some not.   And some crave it.

Now often a white ceiling is the perfect approach, but other times it may not be.  All depends on the color relationships and spacial elements.

A powder room is a great space to get daring in;  powder rooms should be dramatic and make a statement.

This is one of my color projects for a powder room in a large, old home in New Jersey.   Notice how the copper ceiling livens up the room with oomph.

The ceiling color is Benjamin Moore Copper Mountain AC-12.  The wall color is a great neutral with substance - Benjamin Moore Muslin 1037.

In the next photo, the color outside the bathroom is Benjamin Moore Nantucket Gray HC-111.   Reads a muted and sophisticated gray green.

And old heavy house with a lot of weight and high ceilings can handle a lot of color.  Be brave and try painting one of your ceilings a color other than white, when it makes design sense.

Beware, oranges can explode in saturation on the walls.   Copper Mountain is a good choice for a sophisticated muted orange.

If you need a virtual or on-site consultation, do not hesitate to contact me.  Always my pleasure to help color the world.
